Welcome! We are Bill and Wendy Cummins and we own Friday Creek
Farm in Burlington, Washington. It was always our dream to own a small farm and raise SOMETHING there, we just didn't know
what! In July 1998, a change in Bill's job necessitated our move to the beautiful Skagit Valley in Northwest
Washington State. Soon after, we purchased a 1930's farmhouse on 5 acres and Friday Creek Farm was born!
We added llamas to the property in September 2000. Our first two Boer goat does were purchased in
June 2002. The goat herd is still growing; we currently have twenty-seven Boer and Boer cross does, three
dairy does and three Fullblood Boer bucks. Our farm is also home to seven chickens, two barn
cats, eight rabbits, five dogs and a few fish.
We are members of LOWS (Lama Owners of Washington State), USBGA (United
States Boer Goat Association), ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), CBGA (Cascade Boer Goat Association) and NWABGC
(Northwest All Breed Goat Club). In September 2005, Bill and Wendy completed Washington State University's Master Goat
Farmer Program. In addition, Wendy currently sits on the Board of Directors of LOWS.
