What's New?

We recently attended the Star Spangled Boer Show in Stanwood, WA.  We took 8 goats and came home with 4 rosettes!  Check out our Show Results page for details.  Our next show will be the double judged USBGA show in Cottage Grove, OR on June 20th.

Our 2009 kidding season is finished!  We have 30 kids on the ground, 15 does and 15 bucks.  A few of these will be retained in our herd but many will be for sale.  To purchase any of the kids, please contact us and set up an appointment to come see them, you won't be disappointed!

We took three does to outside bucks this year...Willow and Ambition visited CRCR Aged to Perfection at White House Goats.  These pairings produced FIVE buck kids.  Elite Ennobled Spell Bound visited Heaven Sent Ezekiel at Stonebrier Farm.  Ezekiel is one Grand Champion win away from USBGA ennoblement!  This pairing produced two gorgeous kids, a buck and a doe.  The doe, Friday Creek Bewitched, will be retained in our herd.  The buck, Friday Creek Doctor Bombay is sold.

In August 2008, we added Mini Rex to our rabbitry!  Our foundation stock is from KT's Bunny Barn in Lexington, OR and Goat Mountain View Farm in Sandy, OR.  Our first Mini Rex kits were born in November.  Another litter was born in February and another is due in May.  Watch our Rabbits page for updates!

Fullblood and Percentage Boer Goats

Traditionals, Paints, Reds, Blacks

Welcome!  We are Bill and Wendy Cummins and we own Friday Creek Farm in Burlington, Washington. It was always our dream to own a small farm and raise SOMETHING there, we just didn't know what!  In July 1998, a change in Bill's job necessitated our move to the beautiful Skagit Valley in Northwest Washington State.  Soon after, we purchased a 1930's farmhouse on 5 acres and Friday Creek Farm was born!  We added llamas to the property in September 2000.  Our first two Boer goat does were purchased in June 2002.  The goat herd is still growing; we currently have twenty-seven Boer and Boer cross does, three dairy does and three Fullblood Boer bucks.  Our farm is also home to seven chickens, two barn cats, eight rabbits, five dogs and a few fish.

We are members of LOWS (Lama Owners of Washington State), USBGA (United States Boer Goat Association), ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), CBGA (Cascade Boer Goat Association) and NWABGC (Northwest All Breed Goat Club).  In September 2005, Bill and Wendy completed Washington State University's Master Goat Farmer Program.  In addition, Wendy currently sits on the Board of Directors of LOWS.
